Have always loved the Kinks, since buying the wonderful Kink Kontroversy.

In recent times thewr ehas been a spate of podcasts etc. I wonder whether you know or follow the great Word Magazine creators, Mark Ellen and David Hepworth. they have been podcasting for a long time. Recently during Covid they moved to zoom podcasts and one of them featured your fave, Graham Parker.
(https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nCdvs1crvTE&list=PL4BuS5rDGKiPlWeSM798yLoXWjTHgVWuW&index=19) there are many more for you to explore with some great guests.

An old early Word Podcast was with Nick Lowe which you need to hear. You can find that on Spotify (https://open.spotify.com/show/4i2AMNuBpd40Ha8fuGQ7Ll?si=27f1a3bc67c948d3).

It was called 'Word' podcast No 168 in case that link doesn't work for you. Mark Ellen was a school friend of Robyn Hitchcock, but you probably knew that. I photographed them all together onstage at Robyn's 60th birthday bash. which you can see on my photo journal here:
https://www.blipfoto.com/entry/2809212

Keep giving us great musical anecdotes please.
Cheers
Steve Hurrell
Steve Hurrellnoreply@blogger.com
