I've been writing this blog for twenty years now, give or take a couple of days. (My first post was on October 25, 2006 -- can you believe it?) And while I've haven't written much lately, that doesn't mean I don't still love the music I love, the music that made me, the music that ties us all together. It's just that all too often I've found myself repeating myself, and I hate that.
Then it occurred to me that repeating myself for a different audience might be loads of fun.
So in a few days, I'm going to be moving the whole enterprise over to Substack. I'll be revisiting some of my old posts (honestly, if I do say so myself, I've written some great stuff over the years), using others as a springboard for new posts, and finding inspiration for new posts in the songs that have wandered into my purview* more recently.
So put on your dancing shoes and come join me there on November 1st!
